upon the recommendation of the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE).

The accreditation award was based upon excellent initial accreditation assessment scores which reflect the structure of the Institute and the MSPO program. The accreditation is effective from 2004 to 2009 which is the maximum period granted. The customary 5-year re-accreditation process will commence in the summer of 2009 and will be completed in the fall of 2009.
