Assistantships
Some teaching or research assistantships may be available from various faculty members’ extramural grants. Students who are interested in the possibility of working in this environment and securing reduced or waived tuition should explore these options by contacting various laboratories across the Georgia Tech campus. Some MSPO students have acquired graduate teaching or research assistantships and have secured a tuition waiver.
Scholarships
Through the generosity of Craig and Joy Guidry Lentzsch, beginning in Fall 2006 we will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to two students, one from each of the two current classes. We anticipate this scholarship to continue for the next several years.
Research Project Seed Support
Also through the generosity of Craig and Joy Guidry Lentzsch, each MSPO student will be awarded $250 to cover costs associated with conducting their research project.
Fees
Additional costs may be associated with the following:
Tools to be used in the fabrication laboratory are provided. However, students may be charged to replace missing tools.
Students will be responsible for providing their own transportation to attend off-campus clinical rotations at Atlanta area medical centers, hospitals, and prosthetics/orthotics facilities and for other off campus events directly related to the Georgia Tech MSPO Program.
